About Wildcat Coin Laundry

In 2019, my dream became a reality when I purchased the former White Rose Laundry that opened in the Southgate Shopping Center in 1968.

As a child, my mother would take my cousins and me to this same laundromat to show us how to do our laundry.

Over the years my mom always tried looking for the clean laundromats in our travels, but really couldn't find one. I noticed one thing about those laundromats I visited with my mom they were never really clean. Who wants to wash their clothes in a dirty environment? I told my mom many years ago if I ever owned a laundromat it would always be clean and inviting.

On October 23rd 2019 my family and I officially changed the name to Wildcat Coin Laundry after the Canton Local Schools Mascot. Being tucked away in the back of the plaza we had to try very hard to make sure everyone near and far knew where we were located.

Our focus, in the beginning, was to get this place cleaned up and painted to our community colors and get the existing machines operating. In the process, we brightened the place up with new lighting as well as new front windows so everyone could see in and out.

In September 2021 we added all new washers to the laundromat to increase machine reliability along with a complete remodel of the interior space. In 2023 we added new dryers. We are also now offering a wash and fold service. Check that page out below for more information!
